  • Study body parts vocab (see the blog post below this for a link to the conjuguemos site) for the assessment tomorrow.
  • Here is an answer key for the homework (body parts and numbers) from last night. Here is the answer key to the preterit and imperfect story. 
Partes del Cuerpo
  • You can practice body parts on conjuguemos, but here are some things you should know:
  • (the) ears - I taught you "(las) orejas" but conjuguemos uses "los oídos".  You can use either - I don't care.
  • There are other words we don't have as vocab. SO YOU DON'T HAVE  TO KNOW THESE WORDS but you will see them:
    • the jaw = la mandíbula
    • the cheek = la mejilla
    • the hip = la cadera
    • the abdomen = el abdomen
    • the thigh = el muslo
    • the calf = la pantorrilla
    • the hair = el cabello / el pelo
    • the gums = las encías
    • the forehead = la frente
    • the eyelid = el párpado
    • the breast = el pecho (same as chest)

    • We listened to the song On the Peer of San Blas by Maná and we discussed the use of preterit and imperfect.
