Here's some review stuff you can do to practice your skills over break. Try these practice quizzes. After you submit your responses, the answers should appear and you can check your work.  

If you want to keep practicing present tense verb conjugation (many of you should consider reassessing on this skill), then go to conjuguemos and conjugate irregular verbs.

  • Study for an assessment tomorrow on daily routine vocab & reflexives usages + some other past skill.  
  • Keep plugging away on your translations.  They will be due at the beginning of class on Wednesday and are ESSENTIAL for our activity in class that day.  Failure to come with a workable translation attempt will mean you can't participate in that day's peer editing activity and will receive a 0/25 for that work.  OPPORTUNITIES FOR MAKE UP WILL BE DIFFICULT AND UP TO BECCA'S TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

Tarea:
  • 1st draft of your translation is due on Wednesday of next week.  You will have 30 minutes on Monday and 30 minutes on Tuesday to work on it, so plan accordingly!
  • Assessment on daily routine vocab. and conjugation/usage of that vocab (including reflexives!) will happen on Tuesday.  There will also be something else included from previous material in my class.  I will post a practice worksheet for you to study this weekend and distribute it to you tomorrow via Rachael's class.

  • If you did not bring your piece about health/transportation to translate, then YOU MUST have one tomorrow in class.  THIS IS INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT.  Please see last Friday's post for information on the parameters for your translation pieces.

  • If you want to do another topic, please email Becca - beccakatz.teacher@gmail.com.  There was some interest in seeing an electricity bill, lease agreement, and othe similar docs in Spanish, so those would be possibilities as well.
  • YOU MUST understand the material well in English, or else it will be impossible to translate.
