En Clase:

• Discutieron las redes sociales por toda la clase - ¡EN ESPAÑOL!
• You all discussed social networks for the whole class period - IN SPANISH!

Tarea:

• 1st draft of your translation is due on Wednesday of next week.  You will have 30 minutes on Monday and 30 minutes on Tuesday to work on it, so plan accordingly!
• Assessment on daily routine vocab. and conjugation/usage of that vocab (including reflexives!) will happen on Tuesday.  There will also be something else included from previous material in my class.  I will post a practice worksheet for you to study this weekend and distribute it to you tomorrow via Rachael's class.

• IF YOU HAVEN'T BROUGHT IN SOMETHING TO TRANSLATE, YOU MUST HAVE IT IN CLASS TOMORROW!!!

• Hablamos de verbos reflexivos y el vocabulario nuevo.
• We talked about reflexive verbs (see this video if you need a refresher or missed class) and the new vocab (check it out here).
• Hicimos un juego de repaso de mucho hasta ahora.
• We did a review game of lots of stuff up till now.

Tarea:

• Hoja de práctica 1 - rutina diaria. Please note that you have to add a box to the left of the #1 horizontal.
• If you did not bring your piece about health/transportation to translate, then YOU MUST have one tomorrow in class.  THIS IS INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT.  Please see last Friday's post for information on the parameters for your translation pieces.

Tarea:

For Monday (lunes) - find a publication related to Health or Transportation to translate.

Some parameters:

• 100-300 words; please bring anything that is shorter/longer in for approval on Monday
• If you want to do another topic, please email Becca - beccakatz.teacher@gmail.com.  There was some interest in seeing an electricity bill, lease agreement, and othe similar docs in Spanish, so those would be possibilities as well.
• YOU MUST understand the material well in English, or else it will be impossible to translate.
